serie A Week It's Time to Milan Exit Pressure

Friday, January 21, 2011

Milan - just one victory obtained from AC Milan last four matches in Serie A. Facing Cesena on this weekend, the Rossoneri must win for the exit of the pressures that continue to come from their competitors.

After closing in 2010 with a 0-1 defeat to AS Roma, AC Milan could only pick three points when they travel to Cagliari. While in the next two games they only play 4-4 draw with Udinese counter and drew 1-1 at home to Lecce.

So far Milan's position at the top of the league still has not been disturbed. But five points from four games to make Alessandro Nesta et al worthy competitor to worry because the distance with under is increasingly tight.

The series of poor results obtained Milan was suspected due to the pressure now felt they were at the top. One of the main factors is the result of the victory gained 100% Inter Milan after Leonardo's coaching seat.

"We must reduce the tension. The tension is not supposed to because we felt we were in first position," I Massimilano Allegri as quoted from Soccernet.

Diavolo Rosso this weekend to get out of pressure from three points. Opportunities that are open quite large because they "only" will face Cesena in the San Siro.

So far Cesena had a very bad record in away games: only won once and twice a draw from 10 games. The club now also are only one rung from the abyss of degradation.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan's attempts to continue the positive rate they have with Leonardo will face serious tests this weekend. Nerazzurri will pay a visit to Udinese.

Two weeks ago the Bianconeri hardly presents a nightmare for Milan while undergoing a dramatic eight goals in an interminable game with the score 4-4 at the San Siro. Inter should be wary because of the midweek match yesterday they had been forced to work hard before finally winning 3-2 over Cesena.

The composition of the top of Serie A is believed not going to change much this weekend. Napoli that while sitting in second position standings will pay a visit to the club hosts bottom of the table, Bari.

While Lazio, which lost only goal difference than Napoli, will face Bologna. Biancocelesti certainly will fight it out in Serie A because it is the only competition that they follow current after the Copa expelled Roma from Italy two days ago.
